Rooted in Ritual
Art sits at the centre of my practice, extending into ceramics, installation, and intentional design through a visual language shaped by atmosphere, identity, and presence.
I create paintings, objects, installations, and experiences that explore connection, ritual, and the beauty of everyday life.
Working across fine art, ceramics, design, and community. My practice is rooted in slow making, curiosity, and presence.
Based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Artist Statment
A selection of recent paintings, ceramic works, and immersive installations created through slow observation and intentional making. Each work emerges from a meditative process shaped by memory, ritual, and the body’s relationship to stillness and belonging.
Wander at random. Create with purpose.
Making, for me, is a form of meditation.
Whether through clay, pigment, installation, or visual identity, I create spaces that invite people to slow down and reconnect, to themselves, to memory, and to the world around them.
My work is rooted in presence, emotional honesty, and the quiet threads that connect identity, nature, intimacy, and ritual.
As a queer artist, I aim to create contemplative spaces where softness, belonging, and vulnerability can exist gently and without performance.
Design and Art Direction
Alongside my studio practice, I collaborate selectively on visual identity and art direction projects for hospitality, wellness, cultural, and creative spaces.
My approach combines artistic sensitivity with strategic clarity, creating visual worlds that feel grounded, atmospheric, and emotionally resonant.
My design practice exists to support and sustain my long-term studio practice as an artist.
